Legacy 23: The Master & His Protégés

During the 73rd FAMAS Awards held at The Manila Hotel, a special side exhibit titled “Legacy 23: The Master & His Protégés” was featured along the red carpet area. The exhibit honored Dr. Aladin Antiqueño, together with his students from GK College of Business, Arts, and Technology, showcasing the bond of mentorship and the legacy he continues to build.

Dr. Antiqueño presented his newest painting, “Childhood Treasures”, while his protégés displayed selected works that reflected their growth as young artists under his guidance.

Later that evening, Dr. Antiqueño—recognized earlier this year as the First National Treasure for Visual Arts—also took the stage as a co-presenter at the prestigious FAMAS Awards ceremony, further highlighting his influence both as an artist and mentor.
